Das Federal Aero xl Rim wird aus demselben Al6066 -Aluminium wie das hergestellt Stance XL Rand und ist auch 40 mm breit. Federal beschloss, ein ovales Design zu verwenden, um ihren bisher stärksten Rand zu schaffen. Aufgrund der zusätzlichen Tiefe der ovalen Form macht sie es auch widerstandsfähiger gegen flache Flecken von schweren Landungen als ein traditioneller Rand.
