TYPES OF SEATS

The type of seat you choose is down to personal preference and riding style, read below to find out which seat is best suited for you.

PIVOTAL SEAT

Pivotal seats and posts are one of the most popular choices, they provide a sturdy and simple solution to BMX seating. The seat is secured into place through a single bolt that passes through the seat top, this is usually covered by a patch that is easily accesible. Pivotal seats are adjusted using the grooves giving a good variety of seat positioning.

STEALTH SEAT

The stealth seat and seat post work just like the pivotal, the seat type is sturdy and a popular choice for all riders. You can adjust the positioning using the grooves from the seat post. The difference bewteen the two is that the stealth seat is attached with a bolt that passes through the bottom of the seat post, where as the pivotal secures from the top.

TRIPOD SEAT

The tripod seat post has quickly become a second favourite to some. With its sturdy yet lightweight construction, this seating solution is perfect for racers who need their bike to be light and agile.

RAILED SEAT

The railed seat posts are a more traditional seating option. The seat features 2 rails on the underside that the Railed Post holds onto. The railed seating solution allows for micro-adjustments in seat positioning, so you can get it just right.

SEAT SIZING

BMX seats have three sizes - slim, mid and fat. Find out which one is best suited to you and your riding style.

SLIM

Slim saddles may be favoured by race riders as they don’t get in the way when pedaling.

MID

Mid-width saddles are popular with many street and park riders as offering a fair compromise between the two.

FAT

Fat saddles are preferred by jump riders as they offer plenty of grip between the thighs for no-hands tricks.
