Aggirandosi per le piste di BMX, predando facilmente le varietà asiatiche più deboli, l'americano Acciaio Panther è il re della gara di CrMo telaio giungla. E, a differenza dei suoi predecessori, la 38 Special e la Speedwagon, non prende il nome da un gruppo rock smielato degli anni '80.
Alcuni miglioramenti degni di nota rispetto alla Speedwagon sono: Curvatura supplementare dei foderi per un maggiore spazio per la catena, Integrato tendicatena nelle gocce e stand-over leggermente più basso. La lunghezza del posteriore dipende dalla lunghezza del tubo orizzontale. -
